Brian Anderson

It’s OK to mimic your heroes when you’re starting out. Brian Anderson says it’s a great way to find out what does NOT work for you.

“You’re going to do the imitation part, and that’s OK. But, as fast as you can get away from that, do it. It’s important to develop your own style, ‘cause you can’t fake it.”

Brian Anderson currently works as a play-by-play announcer for Turner Sports and the Milwaukee Brewers. Similar to other EJ’s Game Plan hosts, Brian Anderson stresses authenticity, especially for broadcasters. He says finding your own voice is integral. Brian also talks about doing the day-to-day work necessary to be great, managing others’ expectations of you, and much more.
